Devised years ago at Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company by Mary Zimmerman, Metamorphoses brings some of the ancient world’s greatest myths to life on stage. In a production using water as a symbol of transformation and an essential design element, gods and mortals will walk, dance, splash, and play together on the PV Theatre stage.  Nominated for three 2002 Tony Awards, including Best Play, Metamorphoses mingles ancient archetypes with contemporary vernacular to create what Time called "the theater event of the year.”
