“The course of true love never did run smooth,” and what a hilariously bumpy ride it is in Shakespeare’s most magical comedy!  The king and queen of the fairies are fighting. A mischievous forest sprite’s tricks go awry and leave young lovers unsure of where their affections lie. The village craftspeople have cast themselves in a grand romantic play to be performed at the duke’s wedding.  Before it’s all sorted out, old friends will nearly come to blows, fairies will sing and frolic, and someone will get their head replaced with a donkey’s.

Last produced by PV Theatre in Fall 2007, we are excited to bring a new imagining of this timeless classic back to our stage.
